What You Need to Know
Ocean Blue Corals want you to have the best customer experience in ordering from us. Every care is taken to ensure the best possible chance of your items reaching you in the condition which it leaves us. All live stock is carefully packaged, and sent with 40hr heat packs (when required) via Royal Mail Special Delivery Service (pre-arranged next day delivery before 1pm) Monday to Thursday. We also use TNT and UPS at times, when needed. standard postage charge is £14 within UK. postage is free on all orders exceeding £120.
We do not offer Saturday delivery as standard, due to the risk that if the delivery is failed in some way, the likelihood of live stock surviving is minimal. it is possible to make special arrangements with us for this, but there are caveats. please check the Arrive Alive Guarantee policy for full details.
ARRIVE ALIVE GUARANTEE
At Ocean Blue Corals, we understand the importance of you having peace of mind in your purchases reaching you in the condition they left us. Many people’s worries are particularly around the postage of live stock. We pride ourselves on our tried and tested shipping methods, and offer a full arrive alive guarantee (DOA cover), for your confidence.
This means that, in the rare event that your corals do not survive the journey to you, we guarantee a full refund (excluding postage), store credit, or a replacement will be sent, where possible (of the affected product only).
PLEASE FAMILIARISE YOURSELF WITH THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS

Items MUST be accepted and signed for on the first pre-arranged delivery attempt.

Visually inspect your corals in their shipping containers a soon as they arrive with you. should you be concerned that your new coral hasn't arrived in perfect health, please inform us ASAP. We ask that photographic evidence be provided, of any problems to report.

Any problems must be reported to Ocean Blue Corals within 2 hours of receipt of delivery. Supported with photographic evidence of the affected coral, in its original packaging, if you have the facility to provide a temperature reading, this is also very helpful.

By acclimatising/placing the coral/s in your system, (unless instructed to do so by us, after reporting a problem) you are assuming all responsibility for the coral/s, due to their very specific care needs now being out of our control.

If you chose to collect your corals in person, you must make sure you have means of keeping them in the desired temperature range. They will be provided with pots only. All responsibility is transferred to you on collection.

SATURDAY DELIVERY TERMS:

We do not offer Saturday delivery as standard. the reason for this is quite simply if the delivery fails, the earliest a second delivery attempt will be made is the following Monday, making the chance of live stock survival highly unlikely. in this instance we would not be prepared to offer an arrive alive guarantee. For this reason Saturday delivery is only available at a customer's special request, and the following rules will apply:

-If your order is received on the Saturday, and all the standard requirements listed above are met, arrive alive guarantee is provided.

-Should the order fail to be delivered on the Saturday, all responsibility lies with the customer, and no arrive alive guarantee or replacement will be provided.
